lifting a 2wd D250???

lifting a 2wd D250???

anyone know of any lifts or any good ways to get some height outta a 2wd D250?? i know lifting a 2wd is kinda pointless but gotta have the height for the off road fun, any ideas?

body lift is about all you will get. You can get a slightly taller spacer for above the front springs, but even at 2 inches, it will ride like crap. unless you want to custom manufacture a drop spindle, you really don't have a choice.

i would only go with a 1 1/2 inch coilspring spacer off of a 94 to bout 99 dodge 2500 or 3500. i tried to do the 2 inch and i couldn't get the coil spring and the spacer in between the lower and upper control arm. i even had a coil spring compressor. to me it really wasn't worth it to pay to only lift it 1 1/2 inches.

You should be able to achieve more lift if the upper a-arms were clearanced to fit coil spring bucket or if some tubular ones were, the next limitation would be the toque rod. I was looking into fabricating a set of upper a-arms, but I may do a 4wd conversion instead.
