Did you install that GRANT wheel on account of the LE wheels habit of breaking out at the center ??

No. I didn't even know they had issues the truck had a cheap Grant wheel on it when I got it so I just swapped it for a better one I already had.

The factory wheels are so thin and flimsy that it scares me to think about it.

Many have posted pictures of them being completely broken loose from the center.

One of our trucks has the horn-button trim gone and you can see where some previous owner has welded the flimsy metal where the entire wheel has broken loose.

I don't know how anyone lands safely when the wheel comes loose in their hands.

Heck that's easy, I always keep a pair of vise-grips handy, I have steered more than one car with them.
