Leaking INJ. pump-fix on or off truck? pic inside...

Hi all, after installing the high volume/pressure lift transfer pump my injection pump started to leak pretty bad. I found the leak, but to my surprise the seal is a little different from what i would've thought.
The leak is comming from the throttle shaft that is circled in red in the photo. Do i need to remove the pump to get this redone, or can it be done on the truck?
Thanks
Brent

Do it on the truck, the dissasembly and reasembly is going to be the same as installing the 3200rpm governor spring.

Found here:

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...n&onlynewfaq=1

And then you'll put a new o-ring and new throttle shaft bushing and possibly a new throttle shaft if its grooved really bad. But more than likely the o-ring and bushing should fix it.

Can't find part numbers sorry

You might be able to find them in a search, should be there somewhere, I had the same problem a while back.

that pretty much says it. get the whole gasket kit from bosch...it's like 20 bucks. You may have to order the bushing separate, I can't remember, but the o-ring fixed a real bad leak on my buddies even though the bushing looked beat....

The bushing itself is like $15 so I doubt its in the kit.

Already bought the kit, but no bushing i can see. I'm almost leaning towards getting it rebuilt as i am not framilar with working on injection pumps.
