KDP KILLED!!! However...
So I killed the KDP today which I have to admit was fun and offers a huge dose of peace of mind! However, it wasnt the pin that was in any danger of falling with near 300,000 miles on this rig, but the case bolts that were just over finger tight
Those buggers are dangerous too!!! Anyway, thank you everybody again for your post and research as yet again this really helped me today. I also back flushed the radiator when I had it out and cleaned and painted the timing cover. Thats another big hurdle!!!!
Thanks Guys!!! Love this forum!!!

arg!!! So I replaced the radiator hoses too while I had everything out and the lower neck on the rad is leaking. Wonderful. Well I guess I'll pull it apart and braze it back up for now. This truck has the most expensive radiator I have ever owned... I can get an aluminum rad for my plymouth for less money...
Killer bolts indeed!! And FYI guys I decided to call my parts guy at napa to see what he could get me a copper brass rad for and he got me a new one for 250 bucks!! I had checked a little over a month ago and the best I found was 400 so I was happy. I just went ahead and put it in. The radiator is of brand name powerflo. Havent heard of that one before. Just thought I'd let you guys know!!! And now once I fix the old one I'll have a back up rad. God I love these trucks I cant wait to get another one...
