just got my skyjacker 4" lift , Ques

alright i got my lift today and noticed that i had no front stabalizer single shock or hook up, and for some reason i got 2 smaller then stock u bolts for the front, and had to use my old ones, now i called napa back and they told me the kit does not come with a stabalizer but before this the same guy told me it comes with a stabalizer and the second is an option, so does this kit actully come with the stabalizer? and also i got the rear add a leaf, and the did not come with rear u bolts, should the kit come with those also?. anyway thanks for any answers, and now my truck has 7" of total lift with the body lift and well worth the money so far.

I don't have any answers for you but I definitely want to see some pics!!!

Did you get your kit from NAPA? If so I would call skyjacker. From what I understand they are very reputable, they should be able to help set things straight.

Thats my .02

D-C out!

I run Skyjackers on my Chevy and have been purdy happy with them. The lift came "bare bones" though. Just springs, I had to come up with everything else including U-bolts.

Would like to see pics of your rig!!! I can't wait to lift mine!

I put the 4" skyjacker system on mine. Mine did not come with a steering stabilizer and there where no claims saying that it did. You are right abought the short u-bolts, I had to come up with longer ones. I got full replacement springs for the rear which came with new u-bolts.

no offence mullishacrew, but I think you got taken, I thought for that price you got all new springs. I think I payed somewhere around 600 for my skyjacker from summit racing, they don't come with stabalizer shocks unless you order it, (though for that price it should have) mine came with blocks no add a leaf but my brothers came with the add a leaf, had the same problem with the u bolts though. I am shure it looks awesome though, have fun and don't roll it like I did mine

Are they shorter than the ones you took off? They could be for a Dana 44 front end.

yeah i think they are for the dana 44 application because they are flush with the backet thats supposed to help them tighten down, the bolts dont even reach the nyloc, also 1000 seamed good, this other place i went to for the exact same kit they wanted $2000, just across the street from napa. then they got mad when i went with the cheaper one haha

I got the replacement pack for the front, AAL's for the back, pitman arm, and shocks for around $500. That was two years ago though. I too had to get new U-joints as the ones that were sent were too short.

That kit generally goes for $500 plus $80-$90 for a pitman arm, $35 each for shocks, and $110 for a duall steering stabilizer. I'd recomend a steering arm block instead of the pitman arm though.

dodgec68, looking at your sig I assume your talking about an '89. The 92 and 93s came with a taller factory block, thats why the kit gives an add a leaf for them.

i got the pitman arm in the kit, almsot everything was in the kit, i need to upgrade to dual stabalizers though, i also had another question, if i flipped the shakles in the rear, will that get rid of most the block? and id only have to add 2" of block? i have 7" of total lift now but i want 2 more so i would flip the shakles and add a 4" block if there was only 2" of block left after i flipped the shakles right?then to get the 2" more id do a 4" block?, the front id do the spacer between the leaf mount and frame and longer front rear shakles.
