Wow i hope the member is not on here....although i'm sure he knows how stupid it looks

Here's about the only bed swap that looks good across a bunch of years, a Chevy 88-98 steppy bed on a 67-72 Chevy pickup

1st gen with a 2nd gen bed would look VERY goofy.

Might as well take the front clip off a pontiac Aztec and put it on a 1st gen

I've seen an early 80's dodge up in schuylkill county with a bed on from a 2nd gen; it definitely made me do a double take; They must have gotten the bed for free and put it to use. Those coal miners don't waste anything!

a second gen with a first gen bed isn't that bad but a first gen with a second gen bed looks like someone must have spent too much time in their garage with the cummins running to get the idea. It looks terrible.

At least the body lines kinda match. Many chevys can get away with that. 90's chevys look good with 2000's beds on em.

I dunno, I think it looks pretty decent. Let's not be snobbish. A friend is in the process of putting a 1975 step side bed on his 2000 Ram. It's still getting the rust repaired and painted even now it looks pretty cool. Except for going with LED tail lights, it's pretty much like Dodge made it from 1953 through 1985.

In Hatari! John Wayne is running all over Africa in a 50s chevy with a 60s bed. Everything John Wayne does looks cool (except McQ).

Hey it doesn't look that bad at all but I think the front end actually distracts from the looks bed.

He did do a good job and the paint and body lines match up sort of. Also it looks like it might be towed.

I see way too many 2nd and 3rd gen Dodges around but I have seen less than maybe 10 since I have had mine and only ONE in good condition and that is mine.

I"m gonna have to say I like it! If the body lines lined up just a LITTLE better it would be sweet. I like the 1st gen and 3rd gen dually fenders way more than the 2nd gen big honkin things!
