Isspro Pyro Trouble

Hey guys, i recently put an isspro boost and pyro in my truck, and everything seemed fine for quite a while, but lately i have been noticing that my pyro needle will jump around. It seems fine when i'm on the throttle, but when I let off the needle will sometimes jump around. It has even gone all the way back to 100 degrees. I hope there is nothing wrong with the gauge, and that there is just a lose connection, but I would like to know what to check before I take everything apart. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hmmm... i haven't had any trouble with my isspros. Sometimes when i first start my truck, the pyro needle will jump up to 1800 degrees and sit there for a few seconds, then it will go back down to where the real temp is.

I know with Autometer gauges, poor grounding will cause jumpy or erratic needle movement. I've used Isspro and they seem more forgiving than Autometer as far as grounding is concerned, but I would check your gauge grounding.

I have had my isspro tach and pyro go weird on me before, and it was a ground problem. Had a good ground contact, but it was some how getting interference from it. Don't know how, but it was. I moved the wires to a different ground and also grounded pyro on a separate spot from the tach. Never had an issue since then. Even if your ground is good, just moving it might do the trick.
