Ok I got a problem, I think my IP is on the way and fast

Idles down low when warmed up and hesitates on the top end and just don't smoke it used To Like it's not gettin enough fuel

 

first thing ya should do is check the fuel pressure. Could be a lift pump.

 

Where can I tap in for the pressure and if it is the lift pump will it hurt to run it any longer with it being bad?

 

Just so it's been asked, when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

 

^^ also a good question. and if you haven't changed it in a while you should be able to get a new one for like $10 and who knows, maybe it'll help fix your problem.

And if the IP isn't getting sufficient fuel I wouldn't wanna run it. It could seize

As for a place to tap in, I know my trucks banjo bolt on the filter side of the feed line post fuel filter had a 1/8 npt plug on it to check pressure. I'm not sure if that's a OE banjo bolt or if one of the POs had that put on there... but in any case that's a good spot as any to check the pressure.
