Can someone please tell me a source for the throttle breakover spring on my 92 D-250? Mine is badly worn and I think it may break. I also need instructions on how to replace it. Thanks in advance. <br>Roy

 

I was going to replace mine because it looked as though it was wearing threw the spring. I called my local Cummins parts place and he needed to know the cpl # &amp; serial # of the motor. I never did get it though as I had troubles with my Flex Plate and ended up buying a complete different motor. But I think Cummins can get them. if not them, you may need to find a Bosch parts place.

 

Roy, <br><br>The spring you're looking for is labelled &quot;Coiled Spring&quot;, and the part number is .. 1-464-651-430.<br><br>It is listed as a &quot;wear item&quot; in the parts list for the Bosch VE pump.<br>The CPL is shown on the metal plate which is mounted vertically on the drivers side of the front gear cover.<br>All the info you need should be there if required.<br>You should call a Bosch shop to order that part.<br><br>bob.
