im dumb
i got a question for those that are good in math see wen they explained this in shool i was probably somewhere else working so here goes
first thin is i dont no if this is correct size of tire truck was born with 235 75 16
see my prob is that 235 are about i guess 30 inches high the tires i got on now are 36 inches high
see my company pays my millage i just want to no how much is my odometer stealling from me
exemple if i drive 100 km on 36 inch tires and truck was designed to run with 30 inch tires how much km more for every 100 km should i put and if i go 100 km/h how fast im i really going

Well, I decided to get out the mental calculator for a little bit. 235/75/16s are 29.8 inches tall. ((23.5cm*0.75*2)+40.64cm)=75.89 cm=29.8 inches. If your tires now are 36inches, the speedometer will read 29.8/36 your actual speed. So if the speedometer reads 100km/hr, you are actually going (36/29.8)*100 km/hr, or 120.8 km/hr. Meaning you will also put on 120.8km for each 100km on the odometer.
dodge 92... i know that my truck came stock with 235-85-16... yours is the same year, i would think it would be the same, or since it's 4x4 a little bigger. i wouldn't think that they would be smaller
It's too late in the evening for me to do that much mental work.
My company pays mileage as well but my work car has a non-functional odometer so I just bought a GPS unit w/ the trip meter function and use that for tracking all the mileage on that car. Just an alternative option for those who don't want to have to calculate.
