Help: ignition switch- quality part?

Anyone have good luck with replacement quality??

Looks like current Mopar is made in CHINA! I have a Standard Motor Parts one which has flaked out in about 2 months.

You aren't the only one who has had poor luck with replacement ignition switches.

Been at least 2 other conversations on here in the last year.

What wipes them out?. Seems to me there's an obscene amount of current through that switch for the heater motor. Putting that on a relay or relays should help a lot.

I assume that the heater fan is on a different circuit than my cut-out switch.

I'm guessing maybe the contact design is now using cheaper materials and not assembly. Most fan motors draw more current as the age, so a replacement might be a preventive maintenance.
