I am going in today to order my lift kit and would like some thoughts on these shocks .I like them for too reasons EYE candy and the fact that they are bilsteins . But just wondering if singles will be strong enough to hold the weight of the Cummins ?

 

I have those shocks on my truck with a 2 inch lift. They seem to work fine, but who really knows with the brick-like ride. The biggest improvement seemed to come from getting the front axle off the bump stops.

By the way, they use salt here in the winter and the bright silver finish dulls down pretty fast, however no rust on the bodies yet.

 

Thank you for posting . I chickened out and bought the 5125 bilsteins (price )
now i play the waiting game . I finally had time to order the 4 inch skyjacker ... lol was told it was back ordered minimum 4 weeks

 

Definatly paint them or use a clear coat, Winter tore mine up... They look like crap... Just my .02
