Two of the laws that didn't pass this past year would have allowed weapons in schools and government buildings....Mark On second thought, I think that they did pass, but were vetoed by our Governor.

Nebraska's nice, and we have lots of places to "lose" a bag of "lawn clippings". That won't work, we only mow three or 4 times a summer here. OK, "lose" a bag of "compost", yeah, that'll work. I'm 8 1/2 miles from the nearest paved road, and I've driven a couple hundred miles in a day and not seen pavement.

Does that count for hand guns or all guns?

I know Iowa passed some new laws recently that defines the criteria the sherriff's office can deny you a permit for, and increased them from one year to 5. Before, they could deny you a CCW permit simply because they didn't feel like it.
