Talking I Got Them!!!! Stacks that is!

Got my stacks last Saturday!! Took me 4 hours of knuckle-bashing, hit-the-thumb-with-the-hammer, grunt work to get it done!! Here are the pixs:

There is 2 more in my Gallery

Now my ride is quieter inside, more of a head-turner on the outside, and sounds great! Its 3in from turbo to 4in flex tube, 90* 4in to 5in Y pipe, 6" Mitre-cut Tips

Now I need some exhaust with those stacks......

Very nice setup. I'd have stacks but... I have a sled deck covering my whole bed.

I don't know what you've done to your pump in terms of mods but I think you should turn it up some more . Heck get some injectors while your at it and a 3200rpm governor spring too!

On a power high, are we?

The spring can be had from any Bosch pump shop. The Bosch number is 1-464-650-366 and it should run under $20. The install isn't too bad if you have an extra person and remember to keep things clean.

I've always wondered about rain with those things, ...does it just blow out when you flash up? ...any corrosion worries?

I'm telling ya man I got some plans for this rig now! Turning up my fuel screw some more is just making me more power hungry . I swear, this truck is going to keep my funds low for a while .

dieselJon, I see in your sig that you don't have gauges yet. Before you even think of touching the pump, get at least a pyrometer in there to make sure things don't get thermonuclear

What's the life expectancy for stacks, since the rain will get in when parked.

NoSparkPlugs:
I will get gauges soon, very soon as I am getting the power high via boatnik.

Redleg:
My stacks are chrome and the 5in Y pipe, 4in 90* elbow and the 4in flex tube are all stainless steel, t-304 or t-305. Cant remeber where he said that. He changed his site a little after I got mine. And price went up about $5-$10. looks like unpolished stainless to me. So I expect 15+ years out of them. Thank Yall for your feedback.

Another thing about this setup is it is pretty much all clamps holding this together. So if a better first gen comes along, well I just might strip this truck till I get the funds for more stacks

Now they are everywhere. It seems I misspoke again. What we had was a newby State Trooper trying to make a name for his self. Well he did, and I cannot print it here. All the stacks are back.
