I/C H1C on non I/C engine

Noticed an I/C H1C is upside down. The oil return tube is tapped bottom port w/ non I/C (ID tag up). And bottom port I/C w/ ID tag down.

How much work to swap over?

Loosen the bandclamp and spin it 180*?

Thanks!

Pretty much. Hooking to the crossover pipe will be the next challenge after that. I'm not sure what size hose you need.

Loosen the v-band clamp and spin the housing. Simple as that. You'd need a v-band flange welded to the crossover pipe in order to couple it to the turbo outlet. I believe the outlet's dimension is 2.5". If you have to make a new crossover, might as well make it a 3" tube.

You don't have to mess with the vband outlet if you don't want to. It's easy to grind the vband off the compressor housing so it is like the hose outlet on the non i/c h1c. Then just slip over a 2.5" silicone coupler.
