i/c compressor housing 90* cast elbow...

Can anybody tell me what size v-band clamp I would need for it? I think I've seen it's 2.5"?

I have the part # 3069053 written down. I believe it is a 2-1/2" setup.

Is that the part number for the cast elbow itself? I've heard they have one that opens up to 3". that would be nice to have for when I get 3" i/c tubing for my rig.

That is the clamp I posted earlier.

3918685 is the 3" 90* cast elbow. It was around $50 when I checked into them. I cheaped and bought the silicone adapter.

The v-band outlet of the compressor cover is considered 2-1/2".

awesome! thanks for the numbers curt! they'll really help me out!

i'm pretty convinced I can make a 2nd gen downpipe work with the new turbo too! after some research, I found a picture of one on a non-wg housing and it looks to clear the firewall by quite a bit and I don't believe the wg housing's outlet is too much longer. plus, a friend of mine can get me a 4" mbrp in aluminized for $108 or stainless for $128 shipped. Plus what the cast elbow would be (I think only another $50), would put me well below what stan's or source would hit me for to get one of theirs.

That one is a little cheaper. I ran it without issues.

You could probably find a used elbow in the 2nd gen classifieds, if you are not in a big hurry.

I don't believe any of the 2nd gen (12v or 24v) downpipes are different in anyway, are they? they all have the bends in the same locations?

The 2nd gen 3 inch outlet is not 90 degrees there more like 75 degrees.

does that mean, even if i go to cummins with the above part number, that all the 3" elbows don't have 90* turn in them?
