I am starting to be sorry I installed the fass
Wow that really stinks man. I would bet the IH dealer could order it for you, but Idk how much they would charge for it. Maybe this is part of the reason I have heard that airdog filters are better?
From the pics I've seen (i don't own one) it looks like you can separate the pump from the filter block so why don't you just keep the pump an make your own filter setup that way you can use whatever filters you want or you could have a machine shop make adapters for the filters you want to use cause I'd say the filter studs thread out. Theirs a bunch of ways to go about it, its whatever you want i just thought since you spent the time an money to plumb it up that you might not want to give up on it so fast.
You could just order the filters
but i understand where your coming from with the rant. Life isn't all puppy dogs an rainbows, i find that things go a lot easier if you just roll with it an make lemonade when life gives you lemons
Man that was corny

This just keeps getting better. I called fass this morning to see when I would have the filters they said I would have them today. So I ordered 2 water separators they said do you want them shipped to the same address I said yes and when they confirmed the address it was wrong. So that means my filters won't be there til tomorrow now.
That's better than a week, do you want them to put them on to
Seriously you should always keep fuel filters on standby in your truck or at least in your garage, i learned my lesson when one clogged up on me in January when it was about 20*F on my way to work
Or you could just keep full coverage on it an burn it to the ground an find the guy whose getting vodka an get plastered then go get a new truck the next day

I found two filters that do not fit just incase anyone else looks at this thread for reference later Fleetguard FF200 and Napa 7220. I went to a fg dealer and he tried to match one up for me. I thought he had it dead on but the threads on the filter bottomed out on the nipple on the pump before the gasket was seated on the pump housing. I also called Baldwin filter and they said that the BT8439-mpg was the same size so I crossed that to a napa 7220. I went and got the filter from napa and it would not work either because the threads on the filter were even with the gasket. I would have the same problem with the napa filter as I did with the fg. UPS says I might get the filters tomorrow they cant be sure. If it werent for bad luck I would not have any luck at all. lol Where are them two guys with the vodka and lemons I need some new friends.
I talked to Rick at FASS tonight He is very knowledgeable and very helpful. He says I will have my filters tomorrow morning or he will overnight me more. I am just so aggravated now all I can do is laugh. Thanks for all the help and support guys
