hx50 non-wastegated ?'s

I know of an hx50 that i can get for really cheap. It needs rebuilt. I was wondering if i could put a 12, 14, or 16cm exhaust housing on to make spooling easier? I have everything in my sig plus 370's and big fuel line.

Its going on my 91.5 which is getting a nv4500 as we speak
Thanks

Save your time and money. Bite the bullet, spend the $1500 and get the 500rwhp single turbo proven s300 62/71.

Might be fun to play with but turbine housings are expensive..... and that turbo will be a dog no matter what housing you get!

IMO Holsets are built for steady Hwy rpm.... unless very small in comparison to the engine.
They just don't lend themselves to high performance.

I had a Holset 40/55 hybrid 4 yrs ago and hated it. Took forever to spool up. This was before Borg Warner came out with fast spooling S300, which is the only way I would go today!
