is it possible to attain 250+ hp amd 600 foot pds torque and still be able to pull 10,000+ #s in summer months on mountian roads without having to back off because of overheating and EGTs getting too hi? have done some mods but find mountian roads take thier toll.

I would think so. I'm in Texas so my summer months are probably hotter and drier but we have long hills not mountains. If youre driving a manual like me i had to drop to 4th, get the turbo spooled before the hill and power up it and i could keep the egts down. If i tried to recover already climbing the hill i would fight egt and motor temp.

If you filled in what kind of truck you have, it may be easier to answer, some of the newer trucks can boost the power pretty easy and still pull in the heat.

That's pretty good for the speed you pulled it at.

14mpg with a trailer that weight is great mileage. Last time I pulled something big gvw was 16k lbs and I got like 8-10mpg. It was a second gen motor with ppump but still not good. I never could get good mileage empty with that motor though.

***** - that's totally possible. Have a look at my 351cw trailer test video I'm pulling 10k lbs on stock injectors at their max going 70 mph up a 7% grade. I've got an auto- a manual would be even more doable
