how do i get a good sound?

i really want to straight pipe my 93, and im lookin wat everyone out there did. i want it to sound good, so im willing to put SOME money down for a pipe. but, if it sounds great with a cheap muffler delete, thats what ill do. you guys have more experience than me.

Cheapest would be to just get a 3" pipe the same length as your muffler, and do a muffler delete. However, I suggest going with a full 4" straight pipe.

I just cut the pipe off before the mufler. so it ends after the t-case. then i add a turn down.

I like mine with 4" exhaust from the turbo back, and a flowmaster. Timing very agressive. Rattles perfectly.

I just got some 3" pipe that was the same length as the muffler and cut the muffler out and welded the pipe in, it sounded good, then later on i had 3" comin out right under the door, then 4" turndown right behind the cab, and now i have a hood stack. So i've had some different exhausts. just a muffler delete will be cheap and it will sound good and raspy, but a full 4" straight system would sound much deeper and have a really good sound to it, and it would help out with egts and spoolup.

3" sounds weak compared to 4" straight pipe with a camshaft mixed in
