How did this truck ever stay cool

Well i got my rad out and I knew there were like 3 or 4 tubes pulled out and the holes in the tank were soldered up. On the front side there were 15 or 20 tubes bypassed also. I know these trucks have a big rad but that is alot of tubes bypassed. I got my new one today she should cool much better now. Does 271.00 sound like a good deal for a new rad with a lifetime warranty?

Thats a good deal. If that thing ever leaks, send it back ,, I think ours was right at $300 new. Crossflow , off ebay , That was like 2 years ago though.

It is a crossflow correct, Just make sure its the right one.

that sounds like a great deal for a lifetime warranty radiator. cheapest i priced out was $140 but that was wholesale with a 1 year warranty and it was not a cross-flow.

i recently damaged my radiator putting it back in and just had it soldered up on the cheap because i was working on a deadline and i had no money. she still runs cool but then again i don't tow and the thing is totally stock.
