How to convert 3 phase to 1 wire alternator
I remember reading somewhere hot to easily rewire a normal Dodge alternator to a one wire eliminating the infernal voltage bounce (yes, I did all the normal stuff).
I caught my harness on fire so had to bypass the ECU VR, but now have that awful pulse. The Alternator does no have bad diodes.
To fix everything I need to splice in both sides of the bulkhead connectors and wires. Too old (or too broken) to lay under the dash, will need to pull the seat and build a platform to have my but and legs on while I do it.
I do have the plugs with a foot of wire on them. Maybe I should just fix it right, but if there was a quick solution it would be helpful.

Looks like you are in the same sinking boat I was in except my wiring is so corroded (because the previous owner sunk it) it became unrepairable. My final alternator solution was going to a one wire. I searched the net looking for one wire conversions but what I found was not true one wire conversions, at least back then. I went with DODGE CUMMINS ONE WIRE ALTERNATOR - 8902SE (heielectric.com)
