Alright, so I have 3rd gen wheels now, and I got my eye on a set of 315/70R 17 BFG All Terrains (and a set of Yokohama AT/s's). According to my calculations, the 315s are about 34.36" tall. My tires are 31.6," and factory is 31.7." So they're about 2.6 inches taller, so they should need half of 2.6, or 1.3 to clear without rubbing right? Do you think I need a leveling kit will make em fit?

 

I am running 33x12.50's with no lift and no rub. Will depend on your backspacing.

 

I run that tire size on my truck and it barely rubs but I have Hummer wheels. I am not sure of the off set though.

 

I am running 36's with the stock steel wheels and 2.5 Skyjacker in the front. Only rubs in extreme situations.

 

running 39.5x18s with 6" only rubs springs in off camber stuff

 

post some pics of those 3rd gen rims on a 1st gen. I wanna see what they look like
