Hood questions

So I ran into something today in my 92 and bent up the front of my hood. I have a buddy with a parts truck who might have one. I'm also curios if anybody has any experience with carbon fibers ones. Just looking for some advise on my options I'm fairly mad at myself for denting up my fairly clean truck. As always thanks in advance Abraham

I have never heard of a corning fiber hood for our trucks. There are some fiberglass ones but they are expensive.

Your right Bill I thinking one thing and wrote another they are fiberglass I called the dealer and the nolonger can get them. I'm not shure what good price on a hood would be but I know getting it painted will be expensive.

Thanks for the links guys those hood look awesome. I went out to my buddy's parts truck and looked a few different hood all of them had the hoops in the front for the old style emblem. I'm leaning towards a fiberglass one since it would be less prep for the bodyshop to paint it and they look cool. Thanks Abraham

I've always wanted the RT hood. Saw it on Greenleaf's old truck years ago. I'd duct the scoops into my air cleaner.

That was rumblefish's truck with the R/T hood. Greenleaf has the stock flat hoods on his.

There is also another guy local with the R/T hood. He doesn't post online much at all. He does show up at the SOP events.

IIRC, Rock Auto sells new hoods. I really like the look of the cowl and R/T hoods on these old trucks! I'd love to find one for mine!
