I think you would need a handful of them to keep the boost down. For about 50bucks you can get one intended to be used on our trucks.

really, where might i get such a relief valve? those air compressor relief valves are only rated for 80 cfm, so you are right about needing more than one.

If your running a wastegate you can run a manual boost controller. If not, you can get an external wastegate.

i ran 50-55 #s max on orig hd bolts for a long time. i don't drive it hard except when it matters but it never failed. max hp was 425-550 range. [that looks like a pretty big range, huh?] it just kept growing. timing probably the most important. mine wasn't too high most of the time.

So this was my attempt at a "boost relief valve" It failed. Even with the valves back all the way out it didnt make a difference.

So I got a wastegated housing. Works good, but i need to do some fine tuning with a manual boost controller.
