High output 92?

Hey guys I was just talking to my dad n remembered when we went n looked at a 92 EXT cab 4wd auto when I was about 12 (7) years ago now. It went like a raped ape n when we looked at the tag on the motor it said 200hp high output. Has anyone else seen one of those?

Never ever heard of such a thing. I bet those are a diamond in the rough if they exist.

I know I've never heard of another one but they must be rare.

I'm pretty sure 200 or 205 hp VE 12v cummins exist but I thought they were primarily in other applications. Never heard of one coming in a dodge before.

Yeah, I could see maybe marine? Or industrial. Some one could have swapped it in there.

There are Gen 1's with 215 hp, P-pump'd motors in them. Doesn't mean Dodge had anything to do with it. No telling what you'll find under the hood. I know of at least one 1955 New Yorker Deluxe, St. Regis coupe that ran around with a 300C motor ahead of a 5 speed manual trans...and I can assure you Chrysler had nothing to do with it. That 392's SN went 3NE57xxxx which ov course did not exist in 1955.
cheers,
Douglas
