help with a VERY custom GENI

I am doing some research on building a GENI Ram either extended cab or crew cab which will be used as a performance sport truck/car hauler. I will be smoothing everything body wise, lowering it, shortening the bed and if I go with an extended cab I need to cut and stretch it probably 8-10 inches for more room. I plain on using a Cummins turbo diesel and an automatic tranny for my power plant. My question is should I try and find a truck with an existing CTD or is it worth the money to get a 2003 HO CTD. My end result should be something that can move pretty good on it's, be durable, and still be able to haul.

last question, does anyone have a pretty good picture of a GENI crew cab on either the driver or passenger side? I'd like to play with some drawing to see how good I can make those things look.

Tim Althoff
www.yllwdkta.com

Look in members Photos, There is one in "Trucks are Cool" pg30, and in "1993 crew cab"pg12
You can get just as much power out of a 1st Gen (including the cost of the truck!) for alot less $$$$ than a 3rd Gen
