Did you check the numbers on the casting on your truck?

 

Negative, leave that one be. If you look closely you can see a connector on the other side peaking out, that denotes it an electronic trans with no hydraulic govenor. The model year should be 96 to ? if it was off a diesel trans.

 

thanks for the answers. the truck is not at my house and it was dark when i saw it so no didnt check the numbers. the truck would not make it to my house. well i found a prospect parts truck at the local junk yard i am going to check out in the morning so ill keep ya posted if i find some goodies on it for others also. i am going to try to buy the whole truck if the price matches the shape its in.
