HELP Getrag Ragged NV4500 swap

I have searche myself to death to find no answers.

Please Help!
I've got a 91 Dodge D-250 4x4 that I will be sapping in an NV 4500. I have a adapter ring (about 1.5" thick) and a bell housing off of a 97. Also I have a NV4500 out of a 97. I have been told a bunch of contridicting information. Some say a direct bolt on with shifter, floor, cross member and drive shaft mods. Also someone said that 3/16" needed taken off of the splines and bearing retainer. Any info would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks in advace from the poor college boy.

i don't know the whole story, but you do have to have the slave/master cyl for the clutch off the 97 as well

I have got the slave and m.c. also. I was told that this would mount directly up to my pedal and also told otherwise.

I'm really starting to think about taking everything back and buying a kit.

Any more info would still be great thanks.
