Help diagnosing an issue.

I have a non-ic 1991 2500. I was driving down the road and it just died on me. It cranked but would not turn over and I had to get the thing towed home. I’m still at the point of crank with not start today.

Here’s my question.

The VE pump and lift pump are both brand new. Replaced about 3 months ago. I tested an i am getting power to the FSS with the ignition on. Anyone have any ideas on what I should check next?

Check the fuel filter. Also remove the bleeder plug from the banjo at the top of the filter and see if fuel spurts out when you work the priming lever on the lift pump.

And just because you have 12V going to the FSS doesn't mean the FSS is working. Do you hear a click/clunk when you put 12V to the FSS and remove it?

What he^^^ says. If you jumper to it from the battery, you should hear a click and get a little spark. No spark, coil is open. No click, but spark, it's stuck.
