where does the coolant come out of the motor to go to the heater core in an 89 d250 with the cummins because mine doesn't have any thing ac\heat related so i'm installing a heater but need to know where the coolant comes from and returns back to the motor through a new heater core

I just PM'ed you the answer as you PM me this same question.
The two black metal lines bolted to your exhaust manifold carry coolant to your heater core which is located behind your dash.

You just PM'ed me again, telling me that your heater core is blocked off.
Most likely that was done as it was leaking.
Hook it back up to the lines I describe and check it out.

im not going to hook it back up to the heater core because i dont have a blower motor in my truck but summit makes this heater with a blower built in on it that you just hook up like the heater core then plumb to the vents and its just the same.

I would test what you have first and see if you even have a problem.
If there was a problem I would re-use OEM style parts, not Summit's universal kit...Read Mickey Mouse kit most likely.
OEM parts will fit like they where engineered for your rig. The other stuff will end up being a hacked together job.
