Headlight switch repair kit anyone?

. I did finally leave with a part number though, 4882782 is the old Mopar number for the headlight switch repair kit, comes with plug and switch, for a 94 Dodge diesel truck. The number has been superceded to 4886449AB. I THINK. I don't have it in my hand at the moment and the parts guy wasn't 100% sure if it's what we want. According to the diagram on the computer it looks to be the same as what we have for a switch and plug. I'll probly get one from NAPA though. List price at Dodge was ~$100.

Looks like the correct number for a 2nd gen. Check out this web site. They list one for as low as $60, just enter the part number.

Sorry to revive this thread. Just an update. I was at one of my favorite junkyards and found a mint condition 86 Ramcharger. Bought a set of bucket seats and console. While I was waiting for them to be pulled, I took a look at the headlight switch and plug. I guess being a mint condition 2wd Ramcharger that's never had extra lights or a trailer with multiple lights, the switch and plug looked BRAND new. So I snagged it for no charge. Got everything wired up the other day. I put the marker lights on a 30 amp relay. Seems to work so far. I'm sure I'll find out when I drive for a few hours or more at night, especially with the trailer in tow. Thanks for the help from everybody.
