Head Gasket Advice

Hey all,

Started to take apart the 4bt for the ramcharger project. It needs a head gasket, do you guys coat these with anything? How is that copper spray? It looks like the gasket failed because of the rubber compound.

On a side not, the Case 207D engine starting puffing white smoke.. which needs a head gasket as well. Sleeves tested out fine..

Let me know, I'll go pick up some stuff saturday.

Don't put anything on it. Also on the 207, It might be worth your time to pull it completely apart and go through it. I've had where the head has been removed and it disturbed the orings on the sleeves enough that they ended up leaking and dumping coolant into the water not on the 207 it was other sleeved engines as I'm not up on the 207 as I am with the 148 gasser, and the bigger 6cyl Case's
