found the leak in 92 one ton. deffenitely head gasket by the thermostat housing. put new thermostat gasket in then seen leak at split line. so my question is what to look for or what i did wrong? just put on a new cummins gasket a year ago. had head checked, shop said it was fine. they also checked head bolts. any ideas as to where thr problem mite be from? thanks for any help. i have 40 horse injectors, 4 inch ex. timing bumped. it was already weaping a bit before i put on hx35

that truck does not have a boost gage. cant be that hi. it was weeping before i put on the hx35. so it had 4 inch ex. timing bumped and 40 hp. injectors. thats all. was wandering if there is any need to now to put in studs vs. bolts if i do the gasket again?

When you torque down the studs, let the truck sit overnight, and then retorque the next morning to the same specs. Then cycle the engine to where it gets up to temp and make sure the bolts are still at 125. Then check about a month later. If it still blows, your block is probably warped.
