Sorry, Triggerfish that you found my reply as comical. I will keep reading along, as I find his struggling to understand his issue as comical at this point.
If you do not want to buy a very hard to find 33 year old, two year only PCM to fix the issue, I would at least recommend finding a FSM to use so you can answer some of your own questions.

I,m betting it was fried by carelessness so It would not be a candidate for a PCM repair.

Well, i have an update for you folks, so, yes, where do i start? I've been referencing the pin out from the 1993 cummins via the FSM for diagnosing my problems. Well, i was looking into finding a PCM for my 93 because i figured something is bugged up with mine, also i love researching. Well upon not being able to find one now except for some very rude individual on Facebook marketplace trying to get 1200 buckaroos for one known as " KeepRTuned". I thought, "what's the difference in the later models?" come to find out there is nothing different between mine and a 94 and 95 with similar spec besides the pin locations of the wait to start and water in fuel. so i went and picked one up from a 1995. When trying to find out the differences when referencing the PCM plug pinouts i noticed the 95 FSM pinout diagram reads left to right top to bottom, while the 93 FSM reads right to left top to bottom. So, i started checking again using the 95 diagram and guess what? everything is reading true and accurately! the truck is stock so idk what is up with that nonsense. Seriously, check it out yourself. So i checked for amps with negative side of battery disconnected and i was getting crazy off the charts readings with my PCM and PCM fuse in place, like my multimeter was timing out the amps were drawing so strong. When i took my original PCM apart everything was beautiful in it (no visible damage front or back with the potting material removed) and capacitors looked fine, but i paid a local business 60$ to replace them. no change. now with the 95 PCM in im getting everything except for my two lights i mentioned. Here is my problem, Im still seeing ~2.4 amp draw with this PCM. i didnt crank the truck with the new PCM in to see if it would charge because i dont want to burn this computer up. though, i only paid 40$ for it..... So what do you think? Also, can someone guid me into how to "dismantle" the PCM plug to switch those two connectors around without causing damage to the plug? CAV 54 and 56 on the 93 FSM to CAV 35 36 the 95 FSM. Thanks everybody.

there is another page that shows pin location. 18 is not used. You could be powering a ground that is used in a different application
Thankyou, Friend!

You sound like a very sad, condescending young man, I hope whatever your ailments are they are remedied soon! Maybe selling that PCM would bring you some joy, I'll ask around and see if anyone needs it!

Consider yourself very lucky if you found a 95 PCM for $40 as everyone else gets $600 up. There are differences and I will not waste my time to list them. You can do it at your risk. If you want to change pinouts GET THE MANUALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I am YELLING! We are not here to spoon feed you for free!

Dude, with all due respect, you are way off base. I suggest you step back and reassess the discussion as well as this community.

Okay buddy, I don't know your pecking order here, honestly, I think you are about as helpful as a sledgehammer for fixing a problem. Good news though, I got the 2 CAV's switched and everything is working mint, Glad you gate kept your secrets there "dingus". There seems to be a couple sour old men on here that give the whole forum a bad taste to me. What I need to reassess is how i procure my knowledge and from who. Either way, my problems fixed, hope you figure out yours.

I call BS! Now you say you "switched CAV's" when last post you say you were switching to a 95 PCM. Are you saying you switched out the heater system now?

If you think you are so smart prove it! If you think we should be more helpful and show you how to do everything for free show us exactly how you did it.

I will start by asking how you got the timing advance working on the VE pump with a 95 PCM?
