Green and Tan 2-tone help
Green and Tan 2-tone help
My cab is starting to rust under the cab lights.
I'm going to get it fixed at the body shop but I want to do a 2-tone in green and tan.The truck is currently green.
Does anyone have pics of the factory 2-tone green and tan on these trucks?
I've searched but can't find anything.
Thanks in advance,
Ragg

You can look at my gallery I had the green and tan color when I bought my pickup. Now I have Line-x on the bottom. I like the two tone color better than the line-x. I wish I would have got the clolor line-x. It was the best decision that I made I never have to worry about having rock ships on the rocker pannels.

Thanks guys.
The cab lights ARE definatly the water leak problem.
I went to the body shop and was told if I weld up the holes and do the prep around them that they'd paint just the top cap of the roof for $500.I think they're crazy.I'll weld up the holes and paint the roof myself.
I really wanted the green and tan 2-tone with Line-X bottom (another $900) but now I'm leanin' towards an all camo truck to match out trailer:

You should be able to still purchase the 5-oz rattle cans of both Light Champagne and Emerald Green from Mopar. I bought a case of 12 and used 5 or 6 cans painting my Ford steel wheels so I could eliminate the trim rings. (And don't forget the clearcoat; one large rattle can of DuPont clearcoat did all my wheels.) On a nice flat surface like a truck roof I would think the rattle cans would work fine -- and a whole lot cheaper than $500.
