Good news Diamond Eye fans

Just got off the phone with the good folks at Diamond Eye and a re-engineered replacement down pipe and next section will be in the mail post haste. Now all I got to do is put a 4" flange on it.

Call them and complain, that's what I did. I wasn't alone.

You think they're going to loose more money by giving out a few down pipes or a bunch of guys on the net complaining about there product?

Everyone makes mistakes in the beginning. But to jump right on it a take care of their customers is exemplary. Excellent customer service generates new business by referral from old customers. Would you go back to or refer a company that doesn't care if their product is a POS?

Was there a problem with the Diamond Eye pipes? I haven't had any issues with my 4 inch system from them.

If you knew Dennis the Owner of Diamond Eye you would understand why they were so quick to fix the problem... Putting out a Quality product has always been his priority and that won't change anytime soon

Your lifted so you have room. The front differential yoke and the down pipe like to try and occupy the same space from time to time on stock suspensions. If yours can go full travel, it will hit when it bottoms out.

Yup, my 93 has stock springs and I drive on the street only. ( hot top rig ) and mine has hit. My truck does not sag but hits pretty easy.

I was thinking about purchasing a 4 inch with 5 inch stainless tip Diamond Eye exhaust system from TV diesel. Should I inquire about the new down pipe or is this jut more of a problem associated with the four wheel drives. I have a two wheel drive.

Its a 4x4 issue with the front driveshaft/yoke.

I just put on the new Diamond Eye 4 " exhaust for a 1993 W250 on my 1985 crew cab W350 12 valve and I had to cut the pipe right under the first turn under the turbo and move it up 2.5 inches and now it looks great and I can use the stock bracket that bolts to the bell housing to help hold the pipe in place. I also put on a 2' body lift. Very nice exhaust I will also get one for my D350. I give it thumbs up.
