Finding another factory 4wd long bed would be a very rare find. Just like a factory 2wd short bed. And yes, there are factory ones... Even this guys VIN is legit.

Would that Crew cab have the taller frame like the 1993 W350 extended cab has.

He's giving the body an 8 and then he's listing everything that's wrong with it. I think it's one of those trucks once you go look at it you realize the body might not be as nice as it looks. Still a nice truck though,

and I don't think it's BS that it's rare, I have never seen a Crew cab dually 4x4, only 2wd converted to 4x4

He also claims it to have a Dana 70, and I'm positive it wouldn't in 1985 with a gasser. It should be a Dana 60. And he doesn't say what ratios, I'm betting it has 4.10.

I wonder if he realizes that's not the factory front clip? and i kinda wonder how it was done, whether it has a 91-93 Rad support or someone modded the 85 one.

I still say somebody converted that truck the grill doesn't match yr????somebody need's to look it over really well I think it's not factory

And Buddy no it would or should have a reg frame and to be honest there is like a 1/8 in difference in between the frames nothing that is going to cause a problem
The More I look that thing over the more I say it's a Swap truck steering wheel is not a 85 nor the grill just doesn't match up I will put money on it it's not Factory

Decoding the VIN from RCC.com
You entered the VIN Number: 1B7KW36W8FS632939

1 Country of Origin USA
B Make Dodge
7 Type of Vehicle Truck
K GVWR 8001-9000#
W Truck Line 4wd
3 Series 350 or 3500 for 94 & later or 3500 less dual rear wheels
6 Body Crew Cab or Conventional Cab for 90 & later
W Engine 360/5.9 4BBL (Federal) or 225/3.7 2BBL for 82 or 8.0L 10 Cyl. MPI for 94 & later
8 VIN Verification
F Model Year 85
S Assembly Plant Warren Main Plant or Dodge City for 88 & later
632939 Sequential Serial Number

According to the deciphering the chassis should be rated at the SRW 8510. Maybe some parts swapping or frame lengthening may have taken place. Every dually that I have owned have had a GVW 10,100 which exceeds the 9000# as shown in the VIN.

The front seats and grill easily give that away .

That is a good looking truck though! I have that same gooseneck hitch. The little cubby hole where the Message Center would be is kinda cool. I think some guys might buy it just for the Alcoa's .

I'm sure if you looked closely you will see that it's been converted atleast to DRW if not everything else .we will have to watch it and see what it goes for .
