sorry no pics yet i keep forgetting to get pics.....but i got it yesterday and i already kicked the exhaust off and ran a 7" pipe out in front of the back tire just for now till i can get some stacks....and i just put my new head unit in next after i get back from my hunting trip i will be putting in my glowshift 3 in 1 gauge with the main gauge is the pyro and the temp and boost read out digital .....then the white face gauges and led red lights should be in so i can put that in to brighten up the gauge cluster a bit then i will work on the intake and at the next meet the new truck will be running on "FAITH"

How slow is it? haha these trucks are sad when stock.

We're actually gonna have a little get together here pretty soon at my place, I'll let you know when.

Yea it's hard to get used to a "new" 1st gen...they all have their quirks.

If it's driving good at 75mph that's doing pretty good.

get some pics up asap !! what color is it?

I have owned two rust belt plow trucks; one from here in western PA & the other from northern WV. Both were bought as donors because of all the rust issues that each had. Plow trucks in my part of the state and nearby seem to be driven mostly on salted roads and never washed underneath before being parked. Both trucks had frame rot & crossmember rot starting at the transmission crossmember and going rearward. The front fenders on the newer one looked serviceable until I removed them and got a good look inside of the cavities between the inner and outer parts. At the end of each day while doing the dismantle of one I would sweep the fallen rust from the floor and dump it into a 6 gallon plastic bucket. That bucket ended up full by the time I was done! Maybe this is the source of the term "rust bucket?" Hope you have better luck!
