The current synchro rings are brass lined steel. The replacements offered online appear to be completely brass. Is this something i need to avoid? Based on the edge rolling wear on my steels you would think the brass teeth will not hold up for long or take the abuse of steel? Am I right or wrong? Is there someplace to get OEM style?
