Well, I got the trans apart and I can tell I'm not the first to rebuild it. It seems that the previous rebuild was due to the input race spinning and cracks appear above each bolt hole. What are your thoughts on just putting in new races and bearings and be on my way.Thanks.

 

Time for another case.
I'm surprised they rebuilt it with evidence of a spun race still showing on your teardown.
Cracks of any kind in a case are never a good sign.
