thanks for the info guys, it has came in very handy. i was told that the single pod for the steering column on the 2nd gen dodges would work on the first gen. i didnt believe it, but i thought i would ask and see if any of you all had heard anything about it.

If you have the late model rectangular column cover I would believe that. I'm not sure what year they stopped using the old round column.

If you have the "square" style column cover, the 2nd gen pod fits perfectly. I am using one for my trans temp gauge. The only problem I have with it, is that depending on seating position, it can block the high beam bulb.

Oh well, the tach's on the column blocking the high beam bulb now.
