Fuel tank pump

I would like to know if 1st. gens. have a fuel pump in the fuel tank. Thanks.

No sir they do not. They have a cam operated mechanical pump on the block located just above and ahead of the starter..

But they do have a "fuel pump module" in the fuel tank. Don't ask me why, but that is what Dodge calls it. It is not something you want to replace either ... to the tune of $265.

Lil Dog is correct though, there is no fuel pump in the tank.

Just muddying up the water a little.
