Fuel Pin thread pitch

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone knows the size/pitch of the threads on the top of our fuel pins. Was thinking about making my own.

pretty sure it's 1.25 thread pitch. I think for $15 you can get a new one with a 6mm or 8mm head instead of a slot for a screwdriver. It is slightly longer I'm told (IC trucks seem to bottom out before runaway, and there is no collar on them. Do a search and teh PN will show Up. I've seen it a few times.

Like Crazy Matt said since your going to make your own why not make it the way it's easiest for you. If you have access to a lathe and mill and the right material it will still be a chore. I think the fuel pins i've seen on here for sale are cheap compared to trying to make one from scratch unless it's a thing of just wanting to say you can do it too. Good luck.

Thanks! Can't believe you, of all people would give that info away. I would have thought you would give me a price tag instead. I still don't know if i will make one or buy one yet though. I really wouldn't know how much to mill away unless I really played with it. I have to see if my lathe will turn those threads, or if I have a threading die first. Thanks again!

for something that small, just do it with a die. And you can make any sized one you want really, like already said.
