Fuel heater and grid heater

I have heard of the fuel heater delete nipple and the grid heater delete riser. Where can I get these. I live in San Diego and I don't think I need them. Right now I think I have some junk in the fuel heater and its leaking so I just want to get rid of it. If I go somewhere cold I could just use anti-gelling agents right? Thanks

Yep, that would pretty much cover it. The part# number for the heater delete spud has been posted several times, I don't recall if it's in the sticky or what. You could do your own grid heater delete by just removing the elements, plugging the screw holes and un-installing the relays and associated wiring.

I've been without those things in CO for two years, but I don't use the 1st Gen when it gets really cold out because starting without the grids does seem a bit hard on it. It's fairly mild here most of the time anyway, except for the occasional cold snap or blizzard. I would not advise anyone who runs where it gets cold and stays cold for months at a time to remove those parts.
