Question fuel accuracy

Is it just me or does thease trucks seem like they hit half a tank fast then take a long time to move after that. The float seems very inaccurate how its designed. I'm wondering if its to bouyant, maybe I'm just over thinking it

Mine just does weird stuff, like dropping 1/4 then coming back up 1/8 & dropping slowly back down. The only accurate part is the low fuel light.

^^ what he said. The low fuel light is the only thing I go by. It's extremely accurate in my rig.

My fuel gauge drops evenly. Never seen the low fuel light come on yet. I never let my tank get much bellow a quarter

when mine hits 1/2 tank showing I can only get 10 gallons in so it moves faster in the beginning. Low fuel light comes on and I get 25 gallons in.

Mine go toward full while i'm filling up ,but when it hits full the needle suddnly drops to empty, and stays there till i'v used about 3-4 gallons then it's stays accurate till i fill up again, which is at 1/4 of tank.

Mine shows something like 5/16 full when really it's still half full...
I get used to it though.

When filled up, mine stays on top of the full line for a long time, then once down to 1/2 seems to drop a lil faster. Have had the light come on twice and took 26gal both times. Almost always fill up at 1/2 tank though.
