Which series of U joints are used in the front drive shaft? Also which ones would be used for the axle shafts in the front dana 60. These would be for my 91.5 intercooled truck. Thanks.

 

Not sure on the front shaft IIRC they are 1310 someone else will know for sure

The axle joints are PN# spl55-3x

 

Anybody else know what the front drive shaft joints are?

The joints in the CV are referred to as Saginaw S44, like many gm's. 1.125 capX 2.556 lockup.

At the front axle end of the driveshaft it can be a Detroit 7260 series (1.078 caps) or Detroit 7290series (1.125 caps).

From what I understand, 1993 came with the 7290; all previous years use the sissy 7260.

 

i thought it was a spicer 1350...i guess i was wrong. the rears are 1410 u joints spicer part numbers
