Front Air Ride

Looking to get a better ride and lift the front of my '93 W250 by an inch or so. Kelderman's air ride for the front has always intrigued me but I have better things that I could spend $1450 on. I got to looking at it today and decided I could build a setup.

My only question is, what size/style bag should I get?

Does anyone have the specs or part number for the bags that Kelderman uses? Are they a single bellows bag or a sleeve bag? Which would be better for ride? Would a double bellows be even better for ride?

I've always wanted bags, at least on the front, but never found any (that I could justify paying for...).

Curious what you come up with.

Good luck,

Hey! Thanks for the idea. I looked up Keldermans setup for the rear of my 89 1 ton Dually. https://kelderman.com/shop/1989-1993...air-suspension It's $1695 but since I intend to keep my truck till I die it seems like a good investment. As it is now I hate the ride unless I have a couple of tons of weight in the back which isn't often. I have arthritis in my spine and hitting the wrong bump can put me in a world of hurt for several days.

I switched to 2ndgen leafs and hangers on my W250. The ride is plush.

Mainly cutting off the old hangers and drilling holes to mount the 2ndgen ones. I went for more ride height... and the Dana 80. Depends where and how you mount the hangers on the frame. Perch spacing stays the same, but the leafs are 3" wide. I suspect you could do similar with 63" Chevy leafs and moving the 1stgen hangers. Longer leafs simply ride better.
