Johnny from

Is going to produce this product also. We need to show him some interest & maybe he will get on them out a little sooner. I have been buying poly "T" bushings off of him for a while & he has a good product!! He also drives a Dodge CTD.

When I talked to Johnny last week he said he was going to make them by spring. I want to use the poly mounts when I put the 12V in the Ramcharger this spring.

X2.

I know the poly mounts are typically less resilient and will transmit more engine vibrations (noise) to the frame (and ultimately to the cab).

I hate to rain on everyone's parade, but Johnny's been saying that for a couple of years now.

Has anyone tried these? I have to replace mine(stock) every year or so. I've been thinking about building a mount that uses 2 mounts per side and see if that helps.

IIRC the 2nd or 3rd gens have larger motor mounts involving a donut shaped rubbers , ... has anyone tried retro fitting these into 1st gens? They look softer and more resilient than the little hard ones we have.

The poly is actually a little stiffer and lasts longer. Schumacker Creative Services out of Seattle has an interlocking poly mount, that has a couple plates in it. If the damping material fails the metal will keep the motor in place. They have an application for 72-93 trucks, but it says that they are non-diesel only. Are the mounts different in a gasser and a Cummins?
