Found the other fix for the t case shifter

Before I gutted my truck to mess with it, the t case shifter shake real bad. It was bad enough the the previous owner used a bungee cord and wrapped around it to fix it. I forgot to put the bungee back on when I put the truck back together. It doesnt shake now.



It requires pulling the engine to balance it to fix the shaking tho......

Yes i did balance it myself along with all the other engine machine work/ porting.

What spring is that? I dont remember a spring I know theres a washer that kinda springy

I think there are two different versions of the 4X4 shifter. I just tighten the big nut on mine. It is a sign that something is vibrating though. The linkage shouldn't ever vibrate.

Mine was quiet, until I disturbed it and pulled the Getrag. Now it buzzes, so need to try to tighten it up.
